Administration

OfficeNet Workplace™ has an administration area that allows managerial control over settings, features and user permissions. An administrator can authorise and control an individual's level of access and determine the way information is displayed throughout the system.

For example you may wish to restrict certain users from web access or from creating purchase orders, amending accounts information or accessing sensitive information.

Access to the Administration area is restricted and subject to your user level, there are several controlling aspects;

Template Manager: Allows you to generate templates that appear as options when creating new documents elsewhere in the system. Templates auto-insert addresses, date, contact names and other text.

List Manager: Is an interface for configurable elements of Workplace™, e.g. access to another persons email, which links to display on the home screen, button orders, extra fields or lists in the company or project records.

System Keys: Are global system settings to customise Workplace™. E.g. your postcode for route planning or whether to show the calendar on the home screen. Each system key can also be overridden on a per user basis.

Label Printing: Allows you to configure printing for various types of label. Workplace™ can also utilise the Smart Stamp system eliminating the need for trips to the post office.

Telephone Extensions: Workplace™ can integrate with telephone systems such as "OfficeNet Asterisk Plus" or AAISP Call services, allowing individual phone configuration and click-to-dial where ever a phone number appears on-screen.
